Away for the Day

I was lucky enough to escape for just one day! This was surprisingly the very first time I was away from my son overnight and it was so great I'm thinking I need to do it again. I drove up to Vancouver BC on Friday night to see Sebastien and Hope, but mostly to attend Hope's bridal shower on Saturday. It was so lovely to go out for a drink, sleep in late, have some un-interrupted adult conversations and go to Grandville Market. Oh how I love that place! Seriously I think it may be one of my most favorite places ever. I found a few treasures and got to ride the cute little foot ferry. If you haven't made a trip to Vancouver - I highly recommend it!
