Tiny toes and a little knitting

So although I did finish this project 4 weeks after having a baby, I only had about half an inch left to go and to be fair it's really only half finished since I need to make another one. But I couldn't resist posting a picture of Miss Sage and her delicious little toes!

Lately...

Well lately there has been no crafting going on in my world. There has been merely survival. And by survival I mean the bare minimum on my part. Thankfully I have an awesome husband who has been picking up the slack when it comes to all the laundry, cooking and general stuff around the house. So instead of my usual post about something hand-made, I thought I'd just post some pictures of my kiddos, because I did after all make them! The Spring Fair:

Kitchen Curtain for Wyatt

Wyatt got a new kitchen when baby Sage came home from the hospital! I had been meaning to make a little curtain for it before we gave it to him, but, well, that didn't happen. So I settled for a few weeks later. I whipped up this little curtain to hide all his goodies today. It matches the apron I made him a while back that he uses when "cooking" in his kitchen.

Lemon Crumb Cake

My husbands birthday was yesterday and although I didn't plan anything really special (unless you call delivery pizza special), I did find the time to bake him a cake. I wasn't quite ready to go to the grocery store alone with 2 kiddos so I had to make something with the supplies I had on hand and I came up with this Lemon Crumb Cake from the Pioneer Woman's alter ego, the Tasty Kitchen. It turned out really yummy although it was more of a coffee cake/ brunch cake rather than a birthday cake. But my husband didn't seem to mind. What a good sport!

New Addition

I haven't showcased anything crafty in a while, I've been a bit busy! I'd like to introduce the newest member of our family, making us 4. Sage Marie Harper was born on Monday, March 29th. Wyatt loves her dearly and is thrilled to be "the Big Brother!" Mama and Daddy are doing good, lacking in the sleep department, but that is to be expected. So here are some pictures of our new addition, starting with a pregnancy picture taken on Sunday night as I started feeling my first contractions:
