The Pleated Dress

Yay! Sage got a new dress today. I spied this tutorial a while back and recently dug into my stash and got started. There was no real pattern and the neck is a bit wider that I would have liked. But the good news is that I think this will fit her as a shirt as she gets bigger. The fabric comes from one of my favorite local fabric stores, Creative Union Fabrics in Port Townsend. The bias tape was a gift from some friends who brought it back from France for me a few years ago. I thought it was a great fit with this fabric and it sure beats making my own bias tape! The back closes with four buttons - in sparkly pink.
